Clear turn signals available
#42
Just found this on German "E", these have the little "Euro" 194 bulb.
Not sure if acts as an alternating blinker or as an internal signal running light.
Either way, it's about $200 shipped. OUCH !
I might buy some more of the US model ones and sell them on German "E".

oops - EDIT - just saw it on the US model one too.

The Stealth Bulbs came in today--just waiting for the clear signal lenses now!
Still waiting to hear from someone that knows what it is going to require to install these lenses!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????

Since you get them first, you get to tell us?? I'm hoping that we don't have to take the bumper cover off. Just the black cover over the front wheels, and we can get to it without raising the car up. We will wait your instructions

Pull back the front half of the wheel well and then you can reach up inside and remove lense assy. If you have problems you can just pull the nose off. It's not that hard AND you can paint and detail behind the bumper cover.

Wifey just told me the boxes are in, will try to get these in Thurs. or Fri. Anyone else get them installed yet?

Dang it! Mine arrived in Phoenix on Tuesday, but then was mailed onward to me overseas on Wednesday by my sister. I probably won't see them until Mon/Tue.

Got mine yesterday but won't be able to install until this weekend. It looks like you just have to go underneath the car to install them without taking any panels off. There are plastic snap screws holding them on. I'll have to get some lift ramps too--no way I can fit under the front!

Wait no longer......what a breeze of an install. All I did was remove the wheel well covers inside the wheels. They are held on by 3 screws and 5 plastic screw caps (like on the radiator cover). The amber lenses are only held on by 2 little white clips on the near side, and just a slit on the far side. Unscrew the bulbs, then pull out lenses, replace bulbs, replace lenses, replace cover. DONE, took me about 1 hr, I've got big hands and getting up under the wheels was a pain.
I would definately recommend the stealth bulbs, you can't even see them when not on. They lite pretty nicely (maybe brighter that stock). VERY happy with this small mod, makes a BIIIIGGGGG difference.........

WOW--looks great! I hope my Tungsten looks as good! Did you need to pull the wheel well covers out or could you have gone up from underneath with the front of the car elevated?
All I'm waiting on now is my matching Tungsten mirror covers from Midwest Auto and I'll be set!

I would say it was very easy to do on the ground with the well covers off, the two pins that hold the back of the lense on where right there. I would imagine even if you elevate the car, you are still going to need to take the covers off?????
I would think any color would look good with these, not RICE at all!!!!!
