Hmmmm... Tony, do you carry inventory from another vendor besides APC that might have the all white?

(grasping at straws here)

No, I could never find any! I was lucky to find what i did. The changeover would explain the back order situation that existed recently.

Glad I got mine when I did
That is such BS anyway, if they illuminate Amber I don't see the freaking difference.
I see the LIGHT not the reflection anyway.
Sorry for you guys that didn't get any

SIGH...

Well, I guess I will install what I have then... I'll post pix for you all when I am done, you can judge for yourself if this is a worthy mod or not.

Personally I am disappointed that I won't be getting the all-clear lights, since the whole point of changing the assemblies was to GET RID OF THE AMBER PARTS.

The seller offered to take them back, but I don't want to hassle the restocking fee, shipping, etc... Thanks Tony for looking in to this for me. I promise that you are my main main for my Steeda UDPs!!!! Once again I'm sorry I missed ya for this (not-so-worthy) mod.

I just got off the phone with Jegs. They have 36 sets in stock, all with the Amber insert. APC got a 'cease and desist' order and they had to stop selling the clear replacements.
I should've ordered them a couple of weeks ago, when I was thinking about it. Any suggestions?

You and me both chief!

I guess we are screwed.

I am going to install my lights this evening, will post pix. You decide if it's a worthy mod or not.

All in all I think this mod is now a waste of $$$, but it's too late for me!

Well, I installed them last evening. Installation was a snap. I pulled the wheel well liner, exposing the turn signal housing. The assembly is held in by two plastic compression clips on one end, and a slotted tab on the side closest to the license plate. Simply twist off the bulb plugs, compress the plastic clips, and pull. The turn signal housing will pop right off! The APCs do seem to not fit as well as the stock ones, since apparently the retainer tab is thinner than stock and it can move back and forth within the bumper cover slot, but it isn't going anywhere so I chose not to worry about it. All in all the changeout took about 20 minutes.

The built in orange reflectors aren't really that obvious when looking at the front of the car, but from the sides it looks like stock. So far I'm not too convinced that I like this mod, or that it is worth the money.

I am thinking that I should have popped for the Stealth bulbs though - the Silverstar turn signal bulbs that I used give off a bluish/greenish tint to the rest of the light housing that makes the interior of entire fixture look blue. Weird effect that to me seems a little "rice."

I installed clear LED 194 "bulbs" and they work well, but were wasted in that section of the housing since the 194 is situated directly in front of the amber reflector. It doesn't matter if the 194 bulb is clear or amber, you won't be able to tell the difference.

Guess I have been the guinea pig for these particular items! Once again I'm not at all sold on this mod, but at this point I'm going to roll with it since I already burned the $$$. I'll post pix this evening when I get home from work.

I think they look great!!! These lenses tone down the amber on the front!
