I got them within a week from this seller, and it cost me only $5. I bought plain old Silverstar 3157 bulbs for the directionals. I wish they didn't have the bluish tint, but they look better than yolks. Hope this helps.

 

I recently went ahead and replaced the amber corner lenses with the new clear one with the stealth bulbs. While at it I added the CDC matte black chin spoiler, very reminicent of the Mach 1 spoiler. I think the spoiler is mildly aggressive and the clear marker lenses look great, really worth while.

I ordered my APC clear turn signals from them, prominently listed on the website is "FREEEEE SHIPPING!!!!"

Placed my order, go to check out, and I find a $10.99 "Handling Charge" tacked on to my bill!!!

WTF is a "Handling Charge" if not shipping????

Guess I will keep looking to get my clears. Any input?

HERE is a picture of the one from NewEdgePerformance that I got, against the stock set.
The housing is white.
Also in the picture I have one from the driver side vs one from the passenger side, didn't notice that till after I had taken the picture.

That is pretty cool looking but im glad I got the ones I did. If you were trying to black out your car tho those would be the ones so you dont have to tint.

 

Not trying to black out the car - trouble with the law I don't need.

Those blacked out turn signals look cool though.

On another note: I bought Silverstar "stealth" bulbs for the turn signals, they are amber with a bluish silver color coating for about $10. Couldn't see dropping $30 + shipping on the "real" stealth bulbs.

My question is: has anyone else tried the Silverstars? Curious to know how they look/function.

 

I figured When I first saw the clear ones, I thought, "OK cool, now we need some black or smoked ones and I'm good to go" With the stealth bulbs those black ones would look very cool IMO>

 

Got my Fleabay APC corner lights...

I GOT F****D!!!!!!

The housings are clear, but there is a nice, large, amber reflector inside the housing!!!

That is *NOT* what I wanted!!! Ummm... HELLO... the picture was for CLEAR corner lights, NOT this crap!

Guess I will see what I can do to work this out with the seller, but I'm guessing I just got hosed. Tony, I hereby give you permission to gloat.

I dont think they need the amber in the lense. The light just has to be amber when its ON. I think they are getting in trouble because people use clear bulbs making it so there is NO amber. I could be wrong tho....

 

I found some info of Florida law that stated that they must light yellow or white, not reflect the same......

OK, spoke with the vendor...

He says that the DOT has ordered sellers of "non approved" taillights/headlights (read: no orange reflectors) to pull and destroy their inventory, and that APC no longer manufactures or distributes the "all white" lenses any more.

I'm calling on that one. Sounds a bit fishy to me.


Has anyone here heard of anything like this?
