Clear Bra

Looking for opinions on the 3M Clear Bra.

Is it worth it and how visible is it?

Yes I'd love to find out if anybody is using this here and how good or bad it is.

I have had it on the mustang for three years. There is a line across the hood 18 inches from the front but the line diminishes with several coats of wax. The key is to use a microfiber towel to remove any wax build up between the bra line and the paint.

I'm actually getting my new CDC Classic Chin spoiler covered in the 3M Clear Bra on Thursday. I cracked it over a year ago, and recently it finally broke in 2. So I ordered a new one, got it painted and before I install it, it will have the clear bra. Painted chin spoilers chip like a you know what, and make you leery driving on the highway at high speeds. With the clear bra, the stone chips will be a thing of the past. I'll post pics up when he's done it.

I know it isn't cheap! If the film has to be custom cut, it adds to the price. I am paying a fellow about $150 to put the film on my new chin spoiler. He did a new Audi R8 for just under $1,600, BUT she has ALOT of coverage. Just have to check around for pricing, but figure at least $700 for supplies, plus install. A good number, over a grand for good coverage on the car.
