The CL is Seibon made. How was the fit? Weight? Did you drill the hood pins yourself?

It was 900.00 shipped, fits perfectly, weighs 19lbs I believe, and yes, I did the hood pins myself. I havent painted it yet, but a lot of folks think it looks great the way it is.

Aerocatch

Ordered today.

Now for some hood pins. Looking at the Aerocatch, Steeda, or Sparcos.

Any others that would look good on a black hood?

Looks very similar to mine. Mine's VIS Racing though. You'll love the look. I went with Steeda Hood pins and haven't had any problems.

Almost went with the 2" version of that hood. Looks great on the yellow. I hope the CL matches up on the cars lines. Nobody has a picture of this hood on a car.

The CL looks like the Steeda (the lines look a bit sharper on the CL) which I've also been looking at. I might try the Aerocatch locks to see how it mocks up, if not the Steeda pins are a good bet.

Backorder

On backorder at illstreet.com. Earliest is end of March.
Need a few more ex mods anyway, better to paint all at once.

Hood Arrived... Big Disappointment.

When the hood arrived everything seemed ok. Opened it up to look inside, no damage I could see. When I finally unwrapped the hood I noticed the back left corner was chipped.

When I weighed the hood it was ~32 lbs! The stock hood is less than that. I wasn't expecting the "20 or 30 lbs lighter than OEM" as stated, but come on. Looks like only the thinnest layer of CF on the top.

The back slots in the hood were not even open for air to pass through. I'm looking to get this thing out of here.
