Like'me I have a pair on my Tungsten. To me it dresses up the rear a little with out being too gaudy. Of course I have also added the letters under the third brake light.

Ummm... too late. Maybe you'll like 'em better in person?

Dang, I don't want my car to no longer be your favorite Performance White one!

To me its a matter of personal taste and also the overall look of the car. I went with the Moss and painted them black because I did not want any chrome other than the wheels. I really think a little chrome looks great on some of the darker color cars.

I put black inserts on mine. They are actually a DECAL, made exactly like the chrome inserts, but are cut out of a decal, not out of plastic/metal.

I found them from a store seller on ebay, and absolutely LOVE them. You can't tell that they're on the car, but it definitely provides separation to the tailights when they are lit

89Trooper: Looks good with the right amount of add'l chrome accents.

At the end of it all, it's your car-- make it like you like it

Thanks, and I know... this poll is just for fun to get some opinions. I've hinted that I already have them installed.

But it's very close to 50-50 with 24 yes and 26 no right now (sodaman voted no twice so one doesn't count), which is what I expected.

I think they look fine on my Legend Lime with the chrome wheels, but I would not put them on my red Shelby. I am looking for some black ones for it.

Okay, alrighty, so I'll vote. I agree it needs something. BUT, Chrome or Black. Funny, I was in the garage today masking them off to paint, BLACK, but stopped just short of doing it. Going to add the Lettering along the trunk lid first, then decide. I have the Xenon blackout panel, but don't really care for it. Going with the SHR. Plus I have the new rear medalion from SHR also. Soooooo, for me it's still 50/50, Chrome or Black. but for you, Chrome looks good. Now add the M U S T A N G lettering to go with it.

Originally, I bought a set made by V-Tech and they didn't fit right at all and they hit the bumper cover in the corners. This was unfortunate, because I really did like the look. I just got these from American Muscle today and wanted to get some opinions.

They fit perfectly, not at all like the V-Tech brand. They are thinner than the V-Techs and that's why they don't hit the bumper at the corners.

That said, I think they are very tasteful and really add to the retro look without adding any bling (plus they don't stand out as much on a white car). Here are several angles and a few with one on and one off. They are just laying in place, so they aren't on correctly and may look like they are crooked:

I honestly like those on your car. Leave them on Thats the first time I have seen those on a white car, and I like it.

I usually don't like them at all and would give an automatic thumbs down, but I honestly don't think they look bad on your car. That being said, I still think your car looks better without them.

I have been searching Moss's website for the black tail light covers but can't find them. Does anyone know where else I can get them?

Considering you have black rims, a black spoiler, and a black trunk, it would make more sense if they were black.

NO on the chrome, and YES on painting 'em black.

I think it looks great with the silver ring on the rims.

Wow, the NO's took off, but it's funny how close it still is to 50-50 (% wise).

We tried it by Photoshop-ing the chrome and making it black and it wasn't noticeable at all.

Thanks again for all the opinions, but I think they really match the other chrome on the car perfectly. I think there's just the right balance of black and chrome now.
