You do understand that the dark horse ones you referenced are not chrome - per se - it's really chrome paint....

Anyhow, I've also got a set of the dark horse wheels and love them as well!

The dark horse wheels are nice actually. But that would be a grand just for wheels because of the dang shipping

Funny part is when I did ask for opinions a while back. More people said not to change than anything.

i have these wheels from that dealer on my car. i was in a wreck back in Feb. there is nothing under the chrome but metal, and it didnt flake off or anything... if that is paint... that is some awesome paint...

It rained here recently, but anyways...

But i dont care how they got the chrome on the wheels tbh. it has held up very nicely, and it looks darn good on my car too. so w/e.

Well for what it's worth I certainly did not mean the wheels on your car are ugly.
the thing is you want to change the wheels you have on right now so I took that as a notion that you want a change!
Having said that the options suggested i think look good on mustangs! The salleen wheels you want to put on, always in my opinion, i think they don't look the best on stangs!
The ones you have on DO LOOK good as i am a fan of Cervini's GT500 however since you want to change you are looking for something better and i def think the NEW saleens are it and as i noticed you like waht Dez posted so i guess we agree on the saleens.
Hope this clears the misunderstanding!

AND on that note i want to say that the OEM rims offered in our 2005-2009 mustangs TOTALLY sucked in comparisson with the new rim options! WHY FORD WHY? I'm not talking bout aftermarket! Foose nitrous rocked!

Its your car. Pick the wheels you like because you are the one who has to live with your decision. I like the wheels you now have on your Mustang.
