Chrome Ring on Grille Opening

I was at a car show and saw a 2007 Parnelli Jones Saleen Mustang. It had a chrome ring around the front grille opening and the rear.

Can you buy those aftermarket?. I think they would be a nice add to my 2006 GT.

You can make them cheap. Do a search for PJ Trim or something like that and you'll find some posts.

Use the plastic chrome door edge guard. You can buy it buy a roll (10feet) from almost any autoparts store. easy to push on, easier if you remove the grill first. Costs about 10.00

Use the search function, there are a few people that did the chrome trimming around the grills (pictures and everything).

thanks Gary, best way to install is to pull the grill, I tried it while still on and is a pain in the butt. also the warmer it is the easier it is to put on.

No, they do not....I did it. It is a Shelby Billet grille and Shelby surround, with the factory Bullitt grille trim re-applied...

Thx,
Mike

Thanks guys...Yes, Karen and I have never been real fond of the honeycomb pattern, and knew right away it did not belong on her Bullitt.....Which is also why we went with this blackout theme on the other end......

Thx,
Mike and Karen
