I just looked over a the Mustang News items from SEMA and they gave these an award. So I think its goin to be one of those love/hate kinda items.

I can't believe that these things got an award. Their are so hideous and look tacked on, cheap and out of place.

I think it is an original and good idea, it just doesn't look all that great on the car. If the mustang was given an actual chrome metal bumper, it might look ok. Possibly if it was painted on top, with chrome on the bottom, not chrome on top and paint on the bottom.

They make covers for them...

but seroiulsy....I think it just needs a design tweak. I agree...they look bad, but if someone got seroius, and chromed/made metal everything that was chrome back in the 60's...bumpers, door handels, window and all glass trim, mirrors, light bezels, exhuast tips, licence plate frames, Wheels, windshield wipers, rocker moldings......it might look cool.

I agree it could possibly look ok. I think I would let someone else give it a shot though, not me.
