Changing mat black GT/CS side stripes

I will be heading to Baltimore StreetMods in the morning. I talked with Rob, the owner, about changing my Mat Black GT/CS side stripes to silver. The black GT/CS stripes do not show up very well on my 2008 Vista Blue GT/CS. The fade away design Ford uses from the factory for the GT/CS stripes is a $24,000.00 computer generated machine. Rob has emailed me some nice looking GT/CS side stripe designs he has developed. I will be putting the rear 1/4 window louvers on soon. Plus I am waiting for the Vista Blue outside mirror covers. Once I get the outside of the car looking presentable I will post some pictures.

I must admit, the new silver GT/CS stripes on my 2008 Vista Blue California Special came out better than expected. Rob, pulled the original black stripes off and then showed me how thin they were. As soon as the weather improves, I will post some pictures. He took some pictures and will put them on his websiteBaltimoreStreetMods, 3M Automotive Graphics

Arch,

I'd be interested in seeing how your silver GT/CS strips look. I've been thinking about doing the same thing to my Vista Blue GT/CS. Marty

Just ordered my Silver Stripes from Autotrim Design. I think Silver would look great on the Vista Blue. The stripes are reasonable and I found someone willing to take my black stripes off and install the new ones. Can't wait until they get here and have them put on. Please post pics when you get them on, I will do the same when mine are done. Are the Baltimore Streetmods a Fading stripe? The ones I ordered fade just like the Black ones. Should look great!

NJJOE,
You will see vast improvement with the silver side stripes over the cheap factory thin ones. Post some pictures for the group with the new stripes.

Thanks for the pics. Mine are in the mail and I will schedule them to be installed shortly. I am getting the silver faded stripe. I see yours is missing the small portion on the front end of the car. The California Decal on the back looks cool. I am still debating on whether or not I want to add anything to the back.

I really like the silver stripes, but I think the faded design looks better than the chopped. The trunk lid decal...big NO! Looks terrible, IMO. Doesn't go with the rest of the car.
