I did a search and found a topic similar to this, but it didnt answer what I need to know. Can anyone tell me if the Cervini's grill will fit onto a V6 without having to get a new front facia? I tried to email them and they have yet to get back to me so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt

I know the Cervini billet grille fits in place of the stock grille of a GT. I'm not familiar though if the V6 and GT grilles are interchangeable. But, if you can fit a stock GT grille in place of your stock V6 grille, than you can use the Cervini grille. Definitely give them a call though to find out. Better safe than sorry.

On this topic, has anyone added this grill without adding a full kit?

If you give me some time Mark, you will get a positive response. Hopefully I will have enough money on my next pay and I will be getting one.

Any body know if you can move the tribar pony? I would like to see it about 2-3 horizontal bars higher (in the traditional spot)

I have been looking ta this grill as well. I would like to add a GT front facia to my car, but don't wanta GT grill. The V6 grill will not fit the GT facia correctly, so I have very little options at this time.
I'm still hoping someone comes along with a fogless grill for the GT with the tri bar pony or something.

I believe that the top grill will fit the GT bumper. I think your out of luck on the lower grill. From the looks of the emblem on my grill I think that you could move it if you like. It's held on with a bolt so some drilling might be required.

Yes, you can move the tribar pony or even take it off all together. I had e-mailed Cervini's a while back asking if I could order two top grilles and put one of them down below in their front bumper instead of the one with the two fogs attached. They said I could do this, so obviously they would have told me if the emblem was attached to the grille and I wouldn't have been able to use it below.

You could buy two of the top grilles, like I was saying above. And you could just cut one of them to fit in your stock bumper grille area, or inside the Street Scene bumper, etc.

like this ?

The Pony is bolted on to the back side. The V6 opeing is slighly smaller the the GT and the locking tabs do not line up right.

I got mine from Ebay, by far the cheapest place to get them. Just do a search for mustang projector lights in parts & accessories.
