It is kind of ironic that PA is that strict about their cars yet has some of the crappiest roads in America.
[/b][/quote]

Doc, you are so right! The roads here are terrible!! Penndot is currently redoing the expressway (309 for those who live in SEast PA) and there are SO many potholes, and uneven pavement, it isn't even funny. Plus they have those K-rails, that divide the road, so the lanes are thisclose together. I have both hands on the wheel, and I am sweating when I have a truck next to me! That's why I won't drive that route when I have to go into the city for my doctor's visits. It's so bad here, so bad. I just know it, when I put this grill on my car, the very 1st time, I'll have a cop stop me for the lights being too close together. Some cops in my region are SO strict on the smallest of things. I noticed the tri bar emblem on the grill from the photoshop. Anyone know where to get this or is the same as the "stick-on" fender emblems? Also, aesthitically,do any of you guys think it would be too much to have the tri-bar on the fenders and the grill?

IF, (and that's a REALLY big IF), anyone ever makes the "plain" grille I was planning on buying a few different sizes and seeing which one I liked best.
You can get then from any Mustang parts company for most all of the years of Mustanmgs from 64 1/2 on up. They changed sizes every few years. The latest ones on the '06 Pony Package are the largest ever used so I wouldn't recomend those. The 99-04 are probably the smallest so I wouldn't use those either. Maybe the 94-98 versions.

Thumbs down

FYI I ordered the grill on Jan. 31. I recieved this email from 50resto.

Dear Customer,

This email is to inform you of any items on backorder or shipping to you directly from our supplier. If you have any questions concerning your order, please reply to this email with your sales order # in the subject line. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thanks and have a nice day!

Backordered Items:

05-06 FRONT GRILLE, GT, ELEANOR STYLE - DOES NOT INCLUDE FOG LAMPS
We expect to have these parts in stock within 4-6 business days.

So I emailed them to find out where my grill was, and I got this reply...

Steve,

We should have these on April 4th. I appologize about the delay. Hot new item, and we have a ton on the way.

THIS SUCKS!!!

Mark, that isn't really true. For some reason, 50Restomod.com charged us all who ordered the grill, even though its on backorder. They did this, for the reason they say, was to make sure the funds are there. This is a load of crap, as I have never had this done before, when I ordered an item that was on backorder, no matter what the item was. They did charge me (I used my check card). I checked my transactions on the 24 hour banking, and they did take out $178 or so (price + shipping). When I called the customer service, they said the charge would drop off after 5 -7 business days. From what I have seen on my account, they haven't yet credited me back the amount. I'll find out for sure when I go to the bank later today, as I'll have the teller look for a specific amount that was credited.

I ordered a while ago now but still haven't seen a hit on my Credit Card statement (online)..

Since the car is in storage right now - I guess I can't get too antsy but we have an autoshow coming up in Mid March that we will be at with this car and one of our racecars.

I look at my account online...and I saw the charge go on and then drop off a few days later and its still not there today, I just looked.

Its not going to be a charge and a credit. If your looking for just a credit you wont find it....but you also wont find the charge. It should just drop off like it never happened.

Dang... I ordered on Feb 1 and the only thing I have gotten from them was the order confirmation email. No email after the fact, no credit card activity, nothing.

Man, everytime I get my mind made up something brings it down.....I just read that if I install the Roush Front Fascia, I can only run the Roush fogs, or the GT fogs.......neither at the same time. that really kind of sucks, anyone know if there would be a way around that?

Depends on how you wire them up but also look into your state laws. In most places running with that many lights is for "off-road use only".

All this is making me glad I didn't order it. I have so little patience when it comes to car parts. The best way to judge when the grille has been made/shipped is to check your crdit card or bank account. When they take the money out, it's been shipped. Then you should receive it shortly.
