Center "Elanor" Fog Light Grille Installed
Well, after the turbo, I have been itching to put in my Street Scene center fog light “Eleanor” style grille. And I must say I am quite happy with it. I did have the 67 tri-bar pony emblems on it, but it seemed a bit much so I took them off.
It was dark out, but here are some pictures anyway, hope you like it:
And finally got some daylight pics done:
There was a fitment issue, the socket for the driver side fog was pressing against the frame, while the passanger side fog wasn't, so it sat back a tad bit more. The end result was not a perfect fit!!!! The pics above show this, but barely. However, it drove me nuts, so a few days ago, I cut one of the tabs to the light socket fitting, and put it in with the wire pointing towards the driver side instead of the stock passange side. This aloud the socket to clear the frame of the car, and the grille to fit perfect.
Now both lights are centered and fit perfectly.
Other than that, no issues and I think it turned out great.

Looks Awesome!
I just installed this grill myself and I must say I really like it. I was waiting on other grills to come out but after seeing the "wavy" 50 resto grill I decided to go ahead with the SS...It really lends itself to the Shelby look. I also got the matching lower speed grill to protect my Saleen's intercooler.

Thanks for the props on the fogs.

looks sweet, Rygen! I'm debating those fog lamps myself.
Hey, I'm in the process of installing a stripe kit (as you may recall) and I'm at the point where you stopped at - hood-roof-decklid. Frankly, I'm kinda digging the clean bumper look and pondering whether or not to leave it as is. Do you have any pics of the rear? I'm assuming you stopped at the bottom of the decklid? I need to take some good pics and post em up, too.
thanks!
