Well just got back a email from CDC, stating that they are hoping for a late april date for the Shaker System. Just thought some may be interested. I really liked the look of it. Hopefully will be soon. It is supposed to have that awesome engine cover as well.

I doubt it includes the hood as that's the price of their other kits, and I don't think they include the hood.

No, ~$800 is for the non-hood version. They do have a hood available. But that is extra.

My question, is what happens when you drive in the rain? Does the water effect/affect (?) the engine in any way.

When it rains there are 2 drain holes that are connected to tubes on both sides of the headers. The water then runs down and away from the car.

The black GT that CDC is using on their website is my car. We are ready to release the hoods with the functional shaker. The hood looked good but we decided to move the shaker back to make the spear on the hood longer. The new hood is awesome!!!! Our website www.fangperformance.com contact phone number is 260-343-9826 should be running by April 1. We are offering a host of add ons depending on your taste. The black car in the picture has just returned from getting twin turbocharged and should produce about 550 HP once tuning is complete.! The black GT will be in Columbus. Ohio spring Ford swap meet on April 2

Do you have any more pics of your car - particularly the Shaker?

It directs "cold" air from the outside (top of the hood) to the intake. Cold air is more dense and has more oxygen than warm air, so you get more power. Also, there is a slight "ram air" effect (at high speeds), although the horsepower gains are usually minimal.

But the aesthetic value is priceless...
