Actually, when I talked to the CDC people at the Ford Nationals at Carlisle, they said that it doesn't shake! Said the engine is so smooth and steady that there is very little movement. 
Hope one of the beta testers out there tells us this is not true.

Just pop your hood. Have someone start your car. It might only move a little when you start your car or rev it, but that is about it. The engine shouldn't really shake that much if FORD did their job properly.

Leave the mounting bolts loose - it will shake... and maybe a little rattle too.

Well, you can try it with no paint for a while (which I think looks good after seeing it), and as long as you don't rivet the trim rings together, you can paint it later.
