CDC prepainted ducktail not matching factory paint

I ordered a pre-painted ducktail from CDC in Tungsten Gray (T8) and went to have it installed on my 2007 Mustang GT and the paint color isn't even close to tungsten. Not sure if it is another color of gray and was mistakenly put in the tungsten bin or if the color changed from 2006 to 2007 and this will be an issue for all 07 Mustangs.

I am calling CDC tomorrow to discuss and have a voicemail and email in with Partshopper.com to figure out what to do about it. Will keep everyone informed on the outcome.

Didn't you have trouble with your CDC chin spoiler too? WTF?

The chin spoiler ended up being a change in manufacturing. They all come in black now with some finish sanding to them. So that ended up being OK. Of course, the box being torn apart and such was not normal.

I just got in touch with Partshopper.com and they said for me to call CDC to speak with them. On phone with them now. Seeing if I can get a credit or will have to do a exchange.

Ok, here is the outcome. Partshopper.com referred me to CDC and the folks at CDC were first rate and very good to work with. We confirmed that they sent out a Mineral Gray ducktail instead of Tungsten. They are shipping out a replacement today that I hope to get either on Friday or Monday. They are also paying for the return shipping of the other one.

Originally, the box just said 05 Mustang Spoiler Gray but we peeled back a sticker on the box and found another sticker stating Mineral Gray and the part number on the box confirmed. So, all is well just a few days delay. I assume the replacement tungsten ducktail will match my paint.
