CDC Light bar scratches

I'm in the process of buying a light bar for my vert and so far it seems the CDC will be my choice.

After looking at many verts with a light bar I have noticed that most of them have a small scratch on their sides. They are horizontal scratches on the sides about half way.

Have you experieced this ?

You think I should go with CDC ?

Thanks,

it's caused by the top liner resting against the bar with the top up.

On mine, I noticed there are black cloth elastics inbetween the top and the liner in that area. I tightened these a bit to pull the liner away from the bar when the top is raised, bingo, no more scuff marks....

Also there isn't really another choice as far as I know. Most of the other vendors use/sell the CDC bar even when they don't specify it as such. It's a great quality piece anyway.

There is another type, (search ebay) that does not have the third brake light. It is also less expensive than the CDC bar.
