CDC Ducktail WITH Factory Spoiler
CDC Ducktail WITH Factory Spoiler
Ok, maybe I am the only one who likes the look of a wing spoiler and a ducktail like on the '69 / '70 Mach 1...
Anyway, here are some pics of that combination from Tulsa Car FX.

I don't mind the 2 spoilers together on the other cars I've seen that were going for the 69/70 look. In fact I actually think it looks good and it's the only way to do it if you're doing a 69/70 Sportsroof.
There's something about this one that doesn't look right though. (other than the tacked on rear diffuser) Maybe all the other guys that have done this didn't leave the wing in the stock location.
It just looks too close the ducktail, IMO.

Those guys do great work. I bought my Cervini's upper and lower side scoops from them. They seemed like very nice people and had good products. If you're looking to do a Mach 1 or Boss replica/tribute they had some very good examples of ways in which to achieve that look. Check them out.
I saw those at a car show here. It looks goofy in person. BUT CarFX is a great shop and the owner is a super nice guy. I believe he is getting ready to sell that black Mach 1 clone ($35K if I remember correctly).
Thanks for posting this, I've been curious about that combination. After seeing it, I definitely like the Cervini b2 Boss set up better. The deck lid spoiler is elevated a bit more an dlooks much better. It looks exactly like the 69/70 cars.
Cervini's offers another spoiler that cleans it up a bit and makes it look more like a 1969 Mach instead of a remake but be looking at another $200 added to the already $275 for the ducktail alone
and it is not cause i test fitted a real 69 spoiler my friend had around his storage room and it did not look like the pics but i am planning on getting the Cervini's ducktail and pedestal spoilers and the chin spoiler before october
Ok so that poses a question.
If I have the stock GT spoiler, and want to replace it with the CDC Ducktail for example, will I just be able to remove the spoiler and install the ducktail and it will cover the holes? Or will the holes show and have to be filled/covered? I just recently found myself severely interested in the ducktail spoiler and just curious, thanks.

Well, there are ducktails that do cover the holes, but the CDC unit does not - they offer some aluminum brackets that I don't like. They are shown on their website.
