Has anyone on the forums got the CDC Classic hood scoop? It looks pretty cool and I wouldnt have to replace my hood. If anyone has this hood and pics please post so I can make an informed decision.

My other option is the Champion Fiberglass Hood or the gefracing hood but they are fiberglass. I would like to keep my hood aluminum if I could.

Thanks Guys

really??? oh wow, ok, well I might just be doing this once I see some pics.

I am just wondering how they move all the washer nozzles and put in the turn signals and stuff. Be nice to keep my stock hood though.

Not a fan of "tack on" scoops. They tend to look a little cheap, and don't really add anything to a car.

I think you're better off investing in a nice aftermarket hood with scoop(s).

The big issue I have with 99% of the aftermarket hoods with scoops are twofold

1. They are made out of fiberglass, not aluminum.

2. They are not functional...other than the RK sport Ram air I dont know another functional hood.

RK's California Dream Hood is also functional.

I was looking at that one. However, I also want to get stripes at some point. Anyone think he might look a too little busy? Or that the scoops might make the stripes look a little offset? Maybe I'll just go with the Roush hood.

Cant wait to see the pics. I have been tossing this scoop around a bit. I like how its not to tall and has the turn signal indicators in the back.

Great! I have been waiting, and waiting, and waiting for CDC to release this scoop! Please let us know how well the new windshield washers operate, as well as the fit and finish. Looking forward to your pics!

Okay.so far I have only read the instructions...(A FIRST FOR ME).
The wipers are rerouted back through the cowling(it must be removed for wiper install). You must drill 2 hole in the cowl on each side for the
tubing that comes with the kit.You reuse the t fittings. The wiring for the turn signals runs from the harness near the fuse box ,taps in to 2 wires than reroutes back along the fender to behind the battery then up under the hood blanket.
Bad news about the hood..... you must drill 10 TEN holes in the hood to mount it. More to come......

Got mine in the mail yesterday. Good quality, good fit on hood. In the adds for this it looks like the front of the scoop is open, which I wanted. in actuality it is not open. It includes 2 vinly stickers to place where openings should be.
Bummer

This one isnt mine. Im still debating if I can have mine opend up and look right. Problem is each side of the place where it would be open has a curve in it. Not sure how that would look just cut out.. The actual opening should be set in a small amount.
Seems to me a lot of companies havent looked at the actual 67 Scoops to see haw the should look. Surprised CDC didnt.
