Another CDC update regarding the brake light:

"Mark,

The light is $45.00 and will be ready later this month."

 

You know I'm tempted to just say screw it and hope that an officer of the law doesn't notice.

 

I'd like to see what the CDC version looks like underneath. Maybe it can be modified to work like the SS version. What I've seen of SS's spoiler, the curve looks funny. I'll give it to CDC, tey have the better shape. Now if I could just combine the two, I'd be set.

 

OK I took the plunge and ordered the CDC painted ducktail w/o Pony from the Partshopper for $405.18 shipped. I forgot who gave the Partshopper tip but thank you very much! I'm not going to install a 3rd brake light until have to.

Oh, BTW my order got pulled today so that's why I ordered it.

 

Great Rich!!! I wish I knew of PartShopper before I ordered from CDC. I told them that I knew I could get the DT from PartShopper for $35 less and asked if they could discount the additional 3rd brake light they're going to sell for me. They told me NO! Poor customer service.

 

I love that much more than the third brake light. I do wish it was a little smaller though. But, it certainly beats the stock one IMHO.

I think the light bar looks awesome! I'm definitely going the CDC route as soon as my car gets scheduled to be built.
