Looks good, I definitely like it better than the honeycomb panel. Personally, I perfer a simple vinyl blackout because I happen to like the emblem on the rear but would love to get the Silverhorse Racing Tru-Billet Rear Medallion to replace it eventually. First, I have to get the CDC Louvers.

Yeah The honey comb ones just looked like a pain in the a$$ to clean. I like the CDC one too cause it gets rid of the fake rice gas cap unlike all the other ones I found. I'm actually thinking of just having the whole trunk shaved up, but it might a little while b4 I do that.

A very nice and clean look to it but it may be too bland. Might wanna try a vinyl blackout (got mine on eBay for like $20) to add contrast and if you don't like it you can remove it easy. Since you're considering a blackout panel you'll probably like it. Later on you can always get it painted like I'm thinking of doing now once all my parts come in.

Nah I like my stuff smooth. I'm pondering removing my quaterpanel scoops too. Go for a different look maybe. No point in spending all the money having the work done then throwing on another panel haha. I do like the blackout panel though just shaved a little better.

Hey David,
It's real easy to do. These are the instruction that it came with:
1. Use Naphtha cleaner or rubbing alcohol to was all wax and dirt from surface of the car.
2. Make a wetting solution of Dawn dishwashing detergent and water. (1 tablespoon Dawn to 1 gallon water)
3. Peel off backing of the vinyl sticker.
4. Spray the wetting solution on the area that you plan on placing the vinyl sticker on.
5. Arrange the vinyl how you want.
6. Use a squeegee to rub over the top of the vinyl, to help get all of the water out and to help the vinyl adhere.
Then I used a hair dryer to soften the vinyl by the edges so that it would wrap around the deck better.
I happen to like the vinyl better than the magnetic or the other bigger blackout panels because: 1. it was cheaper so if I didn't like it I was only out $20, 2. nothing (dirt or otherwise) is going to get behind the vinyl and damage the paint at all & 3. it keeps the lines of the rear.
Good luck!
