I'd still like to know what that "cover" is on the MRT grille.

They say they're going to produce that grille.

I like the looks of the black grill 100 times better but I don't like the border around the pony emblem.

But what is that "cover" or whatever it would be called?
Only half the grille will be showing?

It's a full grille replacement.

I'm sure they figured out not to leave us without options after all the complaints they got when their "ducktail" spoiler first came out. At first they weren't going to offer it w/o the emblem.

It wouldn't make much sense to limit their customer base so I'd be very surprised if you couldn't get it w/o the emblem.

OK. I'm confused.
To me, the MRT grille looks like an OEM style honeycomb grille without fog lights or center pony, but with a piece of sheet metal covering the top half. Isn't that what it is? And if that's right, what's the purpose of that sheet metal?

It does not come with the emblem. That's an extra $35.

It's all one piece of injection molded plastic.

Having half of the grille be smooth and half of it be honeycomb just doesn't make much sense to me.

It's hard to tell in that photo, but the honeycomb is set back pretty deep.

Got-it from the pics it looked like the border around the pony was part of the grill.

Without the emblem will look killer

Great pics, Brad! Thanks.
That "shield" up there still looks a little wierd to me.

I like the imbedded pony idea though.

Yeah they're cool. They turn clear when a charge is applied to them.

Brad that Shelby grill would look fantastic on PSH, IMHO. The Interceptor is just so......Interceptory,I look at the Shelby and imagine all the designs that it would mesh with and I look at MRT's and think of doing an interceptor clone. I just think that PSH is so nice and clean that it needs a grill that flows with that. Also have you thought about moving the fog lights and centering them in a new front bumper, ala GT 500E?
