CDC's web site says their black grille replacement is coming soon!

 

The grill is pretty cool, but someone needs to do something about those light buckets, THAT would be awesome...

They're not available yet. From what I understand, they would be EXTREMELY expensive to produce, but I have forwarded this thread to CDC, and they always have an open ear to consumers. I suggested they make this grille in black in early 2005 and again this November 15.

 

Bummer but if they do mass produce, I for one would say they will be a hot item

 

I really like the grill it's the best billet I have seen, I can't wait to see it in black. The headlights are not my style but I do think they would be a very popular item for CDC, and I always appreciate having a bunch of options incase I change my mind.

I loved this grille from the start except that it was bright billet. I've only seen four grilles that are black with a chrome pony and no fogs--the stock V6 grille, MRT's Interceptor grille which will be available with an optional chrome pony, Shelby's grille in black, and now this one from CDC.

I don't want a stock V6 grille and Shelby's is an overlay not a replacement, so MRT and CDC are my leading candidates with the Shelby piece in a strong third.

After looking at Shelby's site, their black grill w/ pony does not appear to be available at this time. Do you have any more pics for a better look at it? They do have some new interesting pieces coming out next year that I might add to my ride.

 

I was wanting a replacement grille from Shelby, not an overlay. Booo to them

The CDC will look nice, but will have less bars. I guess thicker bars will hold up better if/when things hit it.

 

The headlights look like stock ones, just painted the color of the car.

 

No shield, integrated turn signals, Jaguar lights.
