I just recieved my shipment of the BLACK rear Magnetic Blackout kit and I had the guy make a Carbon Fiber one also. Thought I would post pics. It's raining here so I had to take these in my garage. I will take a full body shot when the sun comes out. If anyones interested in the Carbon's I have to have a minimum of 20 orders. They do cost quite a bit more than the black to make. PM me if you would like a black one also.

BLACK.......

To tell you the truth I really didn't know there was fake. My supplier also makes Motorcycle parts and says he can laminate Carbon Fiber on to the Panel. I told him to make me one which now lives on my Stang.

Hmmm that carbon fiber would look good on a black stang. Just a subtle change...

Do you have to remove the faux gas cap to put it on or is there a hole cut out in the magnet?

Hole cut in the magnet for a perfect fit. Thats what I like about this blackout, easy to remove to clean/wax underneath or if you just decide you dont like the look today you can pull er right off. Cant wait till my car arrives so I get one. These IMO are my favorite blackout option so far.

Are you going with the carbon fiber or the black? I'm trying to picture what the carbon fiber would look like on the back of a Mineral Grey.

I am a pretty simple person so I am just planing on getting the flat black, think it will look really good on the Tungsten. I have never been a big fan of the "carbon fiber" look either. Thats just me though. I think I would be going for a more old school look and carbon fiber just doesnt = old school. To each his own though.

I also have the Reg. Carbon Fiber ones coming in a couple of days. Not "Magnetic" for the people who did not like the magnet idea. These are the ones you put on with water.

I started the discussion on carbon fiber parts over on the regular 2005 mustang page and I wanted to say that I will be offering REAL carbon fiber blackout plates soon. The plates will also be available in other colors!

How will your blackout plates attach to the vehicle? What else do you have in the woodworks? I know you are doing mirrors, are you doing anything for dressing up the engine compartment? I will be getting the MRT intake that has a carbon fiber looking air box and would love some other carbon fiber parts to go with it.

It's not the look I'm going after, but suprisingly I like the carbon fiber.

I was curious to know if you could offer a blackout/carbon fiber panel WITHOUT the fake gas cap and just a cutout for the truck keyhole.

I would definitely be interested in a product like that!

As of now, not yet. My plan is to have many styles but just need to get these off the ground floor.
