Candy Apple Red Engine Bay

Just finished my spray can radiator cover and extensions mod. What do you all think? Bought the bare extensions from MAG and used the factory center.Scuffed them up with some scotchbrite, primed with plastic primer, then white enamel primer, a couple of coats of JV [candy apple red] then three top coats of clear. Added the new plaque Gary Loat made plus a few polished button head screws and saved about $150.00.Feels good doing it yourself. The paint has the same metallic look af the factory paint and it's hard to tell the difference.

Looks good. I'd like to see a picture from about two feet farther back, to get an idea of the contrast as compared to the black grille.

Thanks for the positive comments.I got the radiator plaque from Gary Loat at bullitt@telus.net. He's a great guy to work with he can do any design you want he gave me a quick turnaround on mine [4days] The paint is from towerpaint.com I called them to make sure the paint would have the same metallic and it does.[$16.95 per 16oz spray can 2cans + shipping $43.80]

Wow, that does look great. I've already got the plain extensions, and some VB spray paint. might have to give this a go.
