Can I see Some Rearends?

I would like to do something with my tail lights but I'm not sure what. I have thought about taking the units out and painting everything but the 3 vertical lenses black. I know SHR is going to do some bezels one of these days and I'm sure they will blow everything else away but that might be awhile.

Can I see what you have done to your tail lights please?

I just got the Moss motors summer catalog and they had something exactly like the acrylic chrome ones in colors now, including black, so it looks just like the lines only are painted. Comes in yellow, CO, and other colors.

here:

I may get the black ones and the CDC blackout panel.

Those or the ones like this:

these came in gloss black and I scuffed them up with a green pad and primed and painted them to match the other semi flat paint on the car

Someone here ordered and installed the ones in your first link, but apparently they don't fit the taillights properly (poorly cut, as far as I remember).

EDIT: found the thread, check out post #7: http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showth...ht=moss+bezels

Sorry couldn't resist. I had one of one of the S197 "Mach 1" Mustangs but couldn't find it.

This is pretty basic, but sometimes less is more.

I like the blackout on the back. Where did you get it

It's called semi-flat paint. No bezels, panels, etc. I sprayed it on.

Cool, like the flat, went to their site and only saw the glossy ones.
Didn't know you painted it. Sorry for the bother

No bother at all. Like you (probably), I'm a car nut and have nothing better to do than to talk (and type about) cars all day long!
