California Special emblem on trunk
It took some nerve, but I drilled 6 holes in the trunk for the California Special emblem. I did not want the cheap look of 2 way adhesive tape. I put barrel clips on the studs of the logo, then pushed them into the right side of the trunk, trust me they will not come out. The spacing was alittle tight, but I grew up in the 60's when most cars had an emblem for a specific model of the brand of car on the trunk lid. This dressed up the back of the car.

I think I would have "stuck" them on for a couple of months first just to be sure that I still liked them before drilling the holes, but hey that's just me. It looks good.

Looks good.I thought about doing it but not so sure about those holes.Did you get them from mustang parts house? You know the 1968 CS had them on both upper rear quarters and the script Mustang on the trunk.i thought about doing that but way too many holes.
