Just curious if anyone has installed one of these on a convertible, and what it looked like?

just like the coupe..... only on a convertible.

I'm sure it'll look sweet..... my favorite hood by far.

The California Dream hood stills just a tad taller to accomodate a supercharger, from what I have read elsewhere. With that increase in height, the front end of the vert may no longer be in proportion to the rest of the car. Do not get me wrong, the CD Hood looks awesome on a couple. I just want to see one on a vert before laying out the cash.

Someone pony up some pics/chops!

Eric just stated EXACTLY why I posed the question. I think this is an awesome hood, but i'm really concerned it might make a 'vert with the top down look really front heavy. If no one has installed one yet, any of our talented Photochoppers willing to give it a go?

***CAUTION THIS MIGHT CAUSE SOME DROOLING***

Very nice indeed Mo, but I was more hoping to see an actual photo. A sketch can distort the real lines or the car/parts (anyone ever seen a preproduction sketch of a car that had a very different vibe when actually seen in metal and composite?)

For drool inducing that'd do the trick. Getting me to open my wallet? That's a little tougher

I had someone chop the hood on to my vert, not the best chop, but might give everyone some idea what it would look like.

At least that gives a bit of an idea, from my viewpoint, I think that adds to the "front heavy" concern

I'm pretty sure I saw one on a sonic blue vert this weekend driving around. Spun my head for sure - it was sweet looking!
