They look like the RK SPort fenders....

All literature for this hood says 'hand laid fiberglass'... so I don;t know what is up with this ad

PLUS - look at the pic mounted on the car - the 'cowl' portion does not looks as high as it should be - and the vents in front look different....

WTF????

Straight from this guy's OWN ad after he says it is Carbon Fiber.

"RKSport Mustang California Dream Ram Air Hood 2005+
Following the lines of the Mustang hood, our engineers designed the California Dream Hood. The Hood is functional bringing fresh, cool air directly into the inlet for increased airflow and performance. The California Dream Hood is crafted from hi-temp, hand laid fiberglass for exceptional strength and durability. Installation is straightforward using the stock hardware."

Ok, blkpwr, just for you. Not great, but you get the idea. Is there some feature you're trying to see better?

05mustangman, they are cheapies from AutoZone. $7.99! The package said that all parts were 100% stainless steel, but the keys are obviously chromed, and the chrome is chipping, so I will eventually replace them and the scuff plates. I'm not sure what you mean about scratches on the hood. I did cut little rubber cushions to go between the hood and scuff plates, though. And thanks, AFChief.

thanks that car is gorgeous
I just wanted to see what it was like since I that would be the view I would have of it if I got it.Also to see if it was ported on the windshield end. I read that alot of ram air hoods were for outflow, but I guess the cali dream dumps it out over the air filter box anyway, right? I just got CAI and am trying to make the most of it. and I think the cali dream hood looks the best at least

I emailed the seller in this auction ( basically just to start trouble ) and asked him if the hood was carbon fiber or fiberglass. And pointed out that he says both in the auction description, and that the pictures are of a fiberglass hood.

Here was his response.

I do not recall ever saying anywhere it is fiberglass. The hood is Carbon Fiber --guarnteed!

Hummm....

i could have sworn that it used to say fiberglass. i think he edited it. i wonder why he wont post pics of the actual hood since it says those pics are for illustration purposes only. i still wouldnt buy it.
