Yeah antigini, I actually debated on going with 6000k's once I put the 8000k's on but the color is growing on me so I'll probably keep them. They really don't take long to put in. I just used some exterior trim tape and stuck them in the spot I wanted them. Go tackle it this weekend! You'll be glad you did.

staudstang, I would definitely put the wheels on top of headlights on your priority list. I LOVE my wheels...my car wouldnt be my car without them. I would say wheels are one of the biggest steps in modding your pony.
I love my wheels too! We have similar looks...the dark wheels on TG look great!!! Go with wheels first!

Did your kit come with this type of bulb, with the reflective "cap" on the end?

Thanks....

Did you try Silver Stars? I thought the factory lights were terrible too, the Silver Stars are just right IMHO, no need to drive around with my driving lights on any longer.

Same reason I got HID's(I'm shooting for install today!). I've currently got Silverstars in, but they just weren't enough after a while. I want to be one of those really annoying people with bright lights.

I do live in the city, I'm not sure I'd be happy with just the silverstars either if I had to drive in the country or in unlit areas on a regular basis.

Yeah when I drove next to people on the freeway I could tell my silverstars were whiter and brighter than other people's lights but they just dont have that pure white bright look to them like HID's though.

Good thing is they're not that expensive! Probably one of the cheapest mods you'll ever buy.

I meant the Fourth of July. Anyways, I am on the site and ready to buy, but how do they know it's for a Ford Mustang? I don't see anywhere where they ask for the vehicle type. Is it universal? Please help. Thanks!

The "H13-3(9008)" is the headlight bulb part number for our Mustangs

or this link...this is actually the ebay seller i bought the HID's from (obdmart). You need to provide them with what bulb size and what color temperature and your phone number if any problems arise. easy to deal with for sure.

Thanks for the link(s). I ordered the same set on ebay a few days ago for $59.99. I'm eagerly awaiting their delivery.
