Brighter headlight solutions?

I am wanting to see better at night and give my 07 V6 Pony Package, Whinnie...a new look. But, like most, I don't want to spend a lot. I was told by a guy at Autozone that my Mustang has the brightest bulbs available for my car. If this is true, it is very sad.

I have pondered new headlight housings with halos and whatnot (aka. americanmuscle.com, etc.) But, the cost is not to my liking. As is the extra work for adding new wires and crimping etc.

Is there a solution that I costs less than $200?

Thanks!

Ebay, Bi-Xenon HIDs for less than $100.

I purchased mine over 2 years ago, zero issues.

6K is a good temp. 4K looks too yellow, and 8K too blue.

Post pics after you install them! You'll love them. It's a world of a difference.

How can I make sure I'm getting everything I need without paying a fortune? I see some that say everything is included, but I don't want to be gypped. I finaly feel comfortable with being able to install the kit myself. Thanks again Rony!

make sure you get a ballast and the bulbs. i wouldnt waste money on a BI-Xenon kit...all it is is HID's with a small regular (h3 i think) bulb attatched to it. there is no reason for that if you have HID's. i got mine off ebay for $45 shipped and they are fine. i also have 10k.

Awesome thanks!!

So for clarification, on the kits I'm lookin' at on eBay, they say they are single beam only for low or high beam. Do I want hi or low beam?
The auction I'm lookin' at is 300435362439

This is the kind that I got.....except through their ebay listing. I ended up spending $65 total shipped. Have had them for a few months with no problems. I have the 8000k kit. This comes with whatever you need. Let me know if you have any more questions man.

was this the standard product? Is it fine to just go through VVME.com? or cheaper/faster with ebay?

Yeah I just got the standard sized ballasts. I went through ebay, but i'm sure going through vvme will work out well for you too. Their customer service is good for being a foreign company.

here you go. take your pick lol

or this link...this is actually the ebay seller i bought the HID's from (obdmart). You need to provide them with what bulb size and what color temperature and your phone number if any problems arise. easy to deal with for sure.

Not a problem guys. I'm glad to help like always. Hope you guys decide to order some. It changes the look of the car nicely and adds some visibility at night. The install isnt bad either. Plug and play. All you have to really figure out is where and how to mount your ballasts. Let me know how evrything goes, and if you have anymore questions don't hesitate.

Looking good. I also wanted something brighter, but 8000k was too blue so I ended up with 6000k. Now I just have to find the time to get them out of the box and put them on.

Thanks Luke! It's slowly gettin closer and closer to where I want it. ha but there's always something new I want to add and mod.

Yeah antigini, I actually debated on going with 6000k's once I put the 8000k's on but the color is growing on me so I'll probably keep them. They really don't take long to put in. I just used some exterior trim tape and stuck them in the spot I wanted them. Go tackle it this weekend! You'll be glad you did.

staudstang, I would definitely put the wheels on top of headlights on your priority list. I LOVE my wheels...my car wouldnt be my car without them. I would say wheels are one of the biggest steps in modding your pony.
