I just received emails from the company. They are going to pay for the item to be shipped back to them and have already arranged to ship a replacement back to me. They did an odd credit to my account for $13.50 which I am wondering what it is for.

I'll report one more time when I get the replacement product in the mail to let everyone know how it looks.

Same here. I didn't think I would like the chin spoiler as much as I do. Glad I went with it. Shatter, the wait will be worth it once you get them both on, especially the ducktail.

Can you get the cdc chin spoiler pre painted?

 

Not that I found, I did look before hand

 

The only two choices are unpainted and a matte black color. I wanted mine the same color as the car so I went with the unpainted.

Here is my update. I got the new spoiler in the mail and the box looks pristine. I opened it up and the chin spoiler looks exactly the same as before, matte black with areas of gray from sanding.

I called CDC this morning and spoke with them, apparantly they have changed the materials they use and moved to the black from the tan so that rock chips in the paint of the chin spoiler don't show as easily (assuming you don't drive a white mustang). So apparantly I got a new one the first time, just in a trashed box. Live and learn I guess.

 

Chad, I didn't get a chance to chime in before your newest box came. My CDC Chin came the same way, and I got it from Mustang Tuning. I went and picked it up, instead of having it shipped, and possibly damaged in transit. Glad you got the problem solved. Your going to love the look of the car once its done.

 

Similar prob here. My poor 07 Refire has been neked for two weeks. Yesterday just before leaving for it's first show (with Jack Roush, no less), my first mod arrives. Xenon black out panel. GD thing was lazer cut wrong. the cut out for the badge was out of round. Soooooo, at the show I just propped it up, and druelled all night at a white convert parked behind me that had the perfect fit SilverHorse Racing pannel on it.

I am taking my car into the shop for paint work after Thanksgiving weekend... and I'll have a surprise for everyone when I post pictures of it back from the shop.
