Body modifications and recommendations

My recent accident has me making several body modifications.
But I feel like I am missing some things.
These are the requests so far:
1. Remove the GT emblems and fill the holes
2. Remove the antenna and fill the hole.
3. Remove the stock spoiler and fill the holes.
4. California Special front and rear bumpers.
5. Cervini Heat extractor hood.
6. Remove Stripes and consider new ones.

What holes / modifications do you wish you can do?
1. What can I do about the rear faux gas cap without adding the black plastic? Does anyone have a picture of it removed and bare?

2. What are my options with the front grill? pictures and links are appreciated.

3. Anything I am missing?

Thanks.

I'd like to see pics of this as well.

Would you just fill the holes and have it painted?
How bad does the keyhole by itself look?
Or would you eliminate the keyhole and have them mold the entire piece? So that it was just straight across.

Definitely would fill the holes and paint. To be done right the whole deck lid needs to be repainted, else there will be a tape seam visible.

Does the lock assembly look naked w/o the cap? Does the bezel seem as if it would break easily?

There's always options like this to consider as well - we do these for Temple Performance on their X cars..

go with a billet piece from Silverhorse. It looks stupid bare and just the keyhole IMO

It would look strange, I think, to fill the holes from the rear emblem and still have the keyhole there. If that's something you'd want to do, have them remove the keyhole as well; your remote pops the trunk anyway, not like you need it.

But if you take all of that off, I would suggest something on the trunk lid; it would be too barren with all of that removed. It's bad enough with the rear emblem on there anyway, that's why people buy the blackout panels. Something airbrushed might be interesting.

I believe it was 555 that removed his faux gas cap and filled in the holes. He placed a blackout panel in that area. He had his car for sale, the pix might still be in the "For Sale" area of this forum. Personally I didn't like the look - it was too bare for my taste. If I were you I'd get a nice SHR billet medallion for the back of my car to replace the gas cap.

Reverend, do yourself a favor and order your GT/CS parts NOW. When my car got crashed a few months ago Ford had a 90 day delay on the front/rear bumper assemblies. I didn't want to wait so I went back with the stock/CDC chin spoiler combo that I had previously. I don't know if there is still a parts hold but you should check into that ASAP.

Edit: I "borrowed" 555's sale pic and am posting it here for your enjoyment:

Yes, that back end looks "wrong" without SOMETHING there...

Thanks for the pic. It is rather bare and would lend itself to be a blank canvass for an old school, very small and tasteful airbrushing. Galloping ponies perhaps?

I saw a pic of just that airbrushed in a rear panel and I personally was not impressed. I really like blackouts, especially on lighter color cars. On the darker, the Medallion (of your choice) works just fine... nothing at all is just wrong...

It looks like your going for a nice clean look, REV. What about Classis Design Concept's rear panel and black billet grill? (CDC has updated their website!)

While your at it either get CDC's ducktail or shave the third brake light and relocate it inside the rear window.

Lots of good recommendations. Thanks. I am trying to get all of the chrome OFF the car. I am not a big fan of chrome. The car should be completed by Christmas. But I will be in Florida for three weeks, so it will be awhile before I can post some pictures.
