Just wrapped up my latest mod. Love to complete the ones that don't cost money!

Here are some pics of the blacked out lenses. Just ask your painter to mix a little black base with a cup of clear ( I used a 1/2oz to 8oz ratio) and then lay out the color until you get your desired result. I used 3 coats on the tail lights, 4 on all the other lenses, the straight clear (2 coats) over all to complete the look. All the lights still shine very brightly. Just no longer have the loud yellow up front and the very loud reds out back! Was going to use window tint, but this was a whole lot easier to complete. If you bring your to a shop, I would think that 150.00 - 200.00 for all 7 lenses would be reasonable, provided he has the clear and the black base in stock

I think it looks very good, however I'd be worried if I got in an accident an insurance company would use it against me.

Looks good. I like everything except the rear. I would prefer it to be completely black, like shown in the attached image. But if you like it, then that's all that matters.

I like that photo of the back as you have re-modified. I was thinking the same, but now that you have done the photochop, I have some work to do this weekend. Thanks for the input!
