Blacked out vista pics?
Blacked out vista pics?
I got my mustang about a year ago and have forever since been comtemplating on what direction to go with it. It is a vista blue v6 pony package so i was wondering if anyone has pics of a vista stang with much black on it( rims, stripes, dark tint, etc...). Any pics would be great. Thanks
Sounds like a challenge!
Tinted windows, tails, rear sidemarkers, front turn signals
Black DD bullit wheels
Mirror caps actually add color, but works nicely and looks more finished.

WOW! Thats exactly what i was looking for. I have never seen your car before but i love it! I love the lightly tinted parts plus the black rims. Its perfect! And youre right about the mirror caps. They really tie the black/blue theme together all the way up through the mirrors.

Even though my turn signals are tinted, I think these would really help tie the dark theme in.. I just can't find any pics on cars to make sure they're more "nice" than "rice"
I definitely agree about the stripes. I think it would lighten up the car too much. If anything, black stripes would look killer on your car. And on the turn signals, they look nice but like you said its always nice to see mods on cars before you buy them.

So i was admiring your pictures again and i had an idea. For about 5 dollars you can get a tinted license plate cover. I think that would look really good on your car. It is cheap and would give the license plate a sort of smoked look like your taillights.
My wife's '05 V6 is Sonic but hey, you get the idea. And if you're thinking about adding striping, definitely go with paint AND if you want a unique looking car as we do, go with a custom color striping. We get more than our share of compliments. Don't even think about white or silver -- that's what everyone else does....
....get a tinted license plate cover. I think that would look really good on your car....
This might not be such a good idea. Even tinted taillight covers might not be. That depends on how **** your local law enforcement "dudes" are. I have a friend who was pulled over and written up (a fix-it ticket) for having a smoked tinted license plate cover.

The plate cover i have doesnt affect the visibility of the plate at all. It basically just makes the bright white background on the license plate look more grey. All letters and writings are still very visible.

I know. It's just how the local law enforcement interprets it. As long as you know that it's not legal by law and you're willing to risk the consequences, go for it. If you get pulled over, then you have no right to complain. My friend did and he removed his.
It's always best to check before installing these visual "not legal for street use" parts. Knowledge is power.

I would like to see some other different color stripes also. I was thinking that a real dark flat but still silver would look cool.
