I especially like the suspension and wheels.

Light output is hardly affected. The lights are actually spray tinted, not film. I have seen sprays that without the lights on look black, but still allow a good amount of light through. I think my level is perfect, don't really want mine black, but now the tails match the third brake light.

Actually already have one, the previous owner was running it.. but I decided that its not worth an extra thing for a cranky cop to have to pull me over. As much as I liked it, it also does not bother me without it.

Current not so legal list:
Windows are too dark
Exhaust is too loud
No cats
No front plate

Haha ya i guess if youre running all those other things you wouldnt want some unneeded reason for a cop to pull you over.

This Knight Rider, i.e. flat stripes on gloss of the same color, got me to thinking. I've done plenty of paint jobs in the past. For a repaint, the first step is to scuff up the existing paint with Scotchbrite pads, making it dull. If someone really wanted flat stripes, the simplest method (and also the cheapest) would be to mask off the appropriate areas and Scotchbrite where you want the stripes. It's quick, easy, cheap and most of all, you'll have "painted" stripes!! hmmmm....

Actually, I can't since I have stripes on both my Mustangs. And neither are black. Even if I did own a black Mustang, I don't care for the flat stripe treatment on a black car. Other colors, absolutely but not black.

20% tint all around and custom VHT tinted tails / side markers.

This one is a good pic of the tails, but it was before tint and some other mods.

Wow these cars all look amazing! It seems to me like i need to invest in some dark tint and some mirror covers. For starters at least.

Mirror caps actually add color, but works nicely and looks more finished.

Yep, the $300 or so spent on those two things will make a huge difference! Post pics when done!

The MGW mirror covers is one of the best bangs for the buck that I've done so far on my Vista Blue CS. I'm really digging those black chrome rims though. I'm a little leery of putting smoke covers on any of my lights but I wonder if somebody makes a car version of the off-road truck lights by Hella called Black Magic http://www.hella.com/produktion/Hell...lack_Magic.jsp These would be ideal as they look blacked out when off.
