Billet grille - CDC or Steeda?
I looked on cdc website, they want $250 http://www.classicdesignconcepts.com...NENTS/GRILLES/.
I looked at steedas site, they want 130. (http://steeda.com/)
What is the diffrence?
Also, im torn between those overlay ones and the cervini. I love the cervini, but i like having the fog lights. Not that i use them, just like the look.
any help is appreciated.

Didn't see one on Steeda's website, but it couldn't look any worse than the CDC one you linked to. JMO. I just think the way the bars are cutout around the pony looks cheap.
(Steeda is, however, now selling one of the OE style center foglight grilles. Is that the one you were talking about?)
EDIT:
I see the Steeda billet style grille now. They both look pretty bad, IMO. I would suggest the OE style center fog grille or try to find one that actually has the fog lights built in since you want to keep the fogs. Those overlays just look cheesy to me.
There's a great one for the V6 that keeps the fogs in the stock GT location, but it won't fit the GT.

Looks better than the other two.
As much as I dislike the Cervini body kit, their grille is the best looking billet style one out there. There's still plenty of room for improvement though.
Someone should make one with the bars spaced farther apart. Otherwise they look like every other aftermarket grille out there that are on so many ricer cars and redneck trucks.

im going to try the 75 dollar ebay one, either way ill need the bottom (cervinis bottom wont fit my stock lower). so worse comes to worse, i have a 45 dollar part sitting around (much better than 275 if i dont liek the cervini). I really wish they made the cervini one to use the stock fogs, but im agreeing with you the over lay looks kinda cheap. That and as hot as the engine bay gets, an overlay is going to make ari flow that much worse. Think its possible to have someone cut out the cervini grill to keep the stock fogs?
The best looking V6 grilles are the plastic "horizontal lines" grilles that are all over eBay. They offer them in chrome or black unpainted plastic.
They'd look even better if every other "bar" or "line" was taken out. Wouldn't be hard to do either... at least on the black one.

well i called steeda (wow the salemen Pat was an ***), and there 130 price is for the top ONLY, bottom is another 100 bucks. so they are the same.
i broke down and went with the cervini front and the lower from cdc. Im going to miss my fogs, but i think it will look much cleaner than overlays. thanks for talking thru this with me StangNut.

Glad I could help. Can't wait to see the pics.
I assume you went with chrome??
I'm seriously thinking about getting a black one if anyone offers it since no one is going to make an OE style grille w/o fogs or a pony.

Sanchez,I would like to see the finished product as well. I like the cervini w/out the fogs. I wish there was someone who offered the bottom for a Roush front fascia though. Or would it look better with out the bottom??
stangnut,please chime in too

Chuck,
I'm leaving the bottom of mine alone. I like the way it looks. Leaving the openings blank gives the fascia a cleaner look.
In fact there's so much going on visually with the front end since I added the Roush fascia, it really makes me want a "blank" grille even more. Having 6 lights AND the pony AND the black accents from the light buckets, grille, fascia openings, etc starts to get a little "busy" and clutered for my taste.

part should be at my door mid next week. I will post up some pics and some feedback on the install. Im running a stock front end so its pretty bland right now. I have chrome badges, chrome wheels, and clear turning lenses, so im hoping this chrome front grills will look at home. Thanks again Stangnut.
as for the roush lower, i personally like the chrome look on top and bottom, but do what you think looks best for your car. As i said im running the stock front end (soon to have the cdc classic chin) and i think it looks really nice on some colors (torch red, black and blue). I do prefer black on most the other colors tho (especailly the greys and burgendy colors)
