I'll vote for silver, but I prefer subtley. If you want to be more bold go white. Black is just a little to much for me (I only like black with stripe 3 on the stripe painter). But to each their own. Good luck!

 

uofh and THRUST - do either of u guys have pics of the grey with Charcoal Metallic? I've never seen it.

Anyone talked about stripes on the Verts yet? I tried a search. I'm struggling with the idea...

 

I went to the stripes painter online and saved the white, silver and black ones w/ my print screen function, then opened in paint document and put all three together on one page - now i can't get it to upload onto here. I'm guessing the site doesn't allow paint documents? if u can post them, or if u have any more actual pics, please get them up - I'm glad to see ppl. voting, but I need more visuals. thanks for all the input so far

P.S. - anyone know what Metallic Charcoal looks like?

 

Orthoguy has charcoal metallic on his black...although i thought i saw them somewhere else and they looked darker. still looking for another pick.

Yeah, definitely dark charcoal interior (only like the red int on red and black cars - JMO) I think I'm leaning toward black too - thanks guys

Have you decided on a color yet for your stripes?

My Dark Shadow Grey Metallic can be subtle or outragous, depending on the light or shadows. I love folks noticing the stripes at the last second because of the angle of their approach and the whiplash of their necks with their heads on a swivel!

 

lol, Mark, I love your stripes,and if I could afford to get mine painted, I would. But I have to go the vinyl route on this one, or I won't be able to afford any other mods. I think I'm gonna get black stripes, metallic or glossy to match the shine the clearcoat give off. It'll be another couple months before it gets here- maybe I can work overtime and raise the cash If you have a few more pics you'd like to show off, post 'em - you and Acadian have the best greys!

I was over at Sheehy Ford in Springfield to buy a locking gas cap and parked next to a yellow v6 with vinyl stripes,black. It was for sale. They did not go over the back emblem or either plate housings, front or back. Also, it looked scatchy, like people brushed up against it and scuffed it so that the scuff cannot be removed. Looked cheap!

When I came outside with my part, 6-7 sales guys and 2 managers were ooohing and awwwwwing my paint job and minor interior mods as well as the tires! Lots of questions from these guys.
