Best Place to Buy 18'' American Racing Torq Thrust IIs
I've checked out the American racing website and it seems they have a very limited wheel selection in the 18" size. They are slowly adding more sizes. In the new style section they've added a new Torque Thrust wheel and comes in the 17" and 20" sizes for s-197's but no 18 or 19's.I settled for a set of 20's but even they are far from being built.I'm hoping by the end of the month they'll be ready.

I did notice that ...but...they were ordered as 4 1/2".This isn't the first set of wheels I've bought and the sales rep at Discount Tire ordered a set for his mom's 07'GT S-197 as well.Check out the Tire Rack site and listed under "bolt pattern" @5-114.Same wheel different color.

It was suggested that I run 99-04 18x9 Bullitts in front since they are non-DD but the offset is wrong and they wheels will sit a little outside the front fender.
i am selling my torq thrust IIs. they are a set of 4 18x10s. they fit the front and back correctly, i ordered with the 7.25" backspace. i am running them with 285/40/18s front and back. let me know if your interested. i have 2 18x8s also, but i had the spokes on the 18x10s painted with the bullitt color.
LOL WOW...
We are saying the same thing but your not understanding that Im talking bout 99-04 Bullitts up front which might stick outside the fender because of the offset/backspacing...Then running regular 05 DD Bullitts in the rear, which might tuck slightly under the fender. If you don't get this, sorry - I dunno how to explain it any better for you. Im not sure if this setup would look goofy or not.
