Anyone interested in matte black spoilers?

I'm gauging interest in pre-painted, ready-to-install, matte black factory style spoilers for those of you looking to give your Mustang the Mach 1/Boss 302 look.

Is anyone currently offering this product? We have a supplier that does excellent paint work and they may be able to do these for us. If you are interested please reply to this thread.

Thanks,
-Nino

Cervinis offers a black "pedestal wing", part #2230 for $289. It's adjustable like on the 69-70 mustangs

It looks like this spoiler needs non-factory mounting holes, right?

I think it uses the factory holes.

i am pretty sure that the cervini's one uses the stock holes. doesnt make sense to buy a stock-style spoiler that has been painted black. might as well get something like the cervinis which has adjustablility, or just paint the one that comes with the car. just my opinion of course.

We could also offer a matte black vinyl cover for the trunk lid like the picture shows.

The cervini's pedestal spoiler fits over the holes for the stock spoiler but the bolts do not line up and require a new hole be drilled on each side.

PJ Saleen spoiler should also be available soon I hear. Not stock profile but fits factory holes and comes in matte black.
Here are both the Cervini and PJ I saw at the last car show.

I am ready to buy. I've already blacked out the back. I considered buying a take off black spoiler but gloss black is just not right.

The great gloss or flat question.

Honestly, I think my Cervini looks pretty cool gloss, although it is not for everybody. I did it to match the hood.

I agree the glossy black looks great with glossy stripes and glossy rear center panel. We had not seen anyone offer pre-painted matte black spoilers however and there seems to be at least a few of you that are interested so that is encouraging. By the way, we already sell factory take-off spoilers in (glossy) black for those of you that are interested.

Also, I asked our supplier to see if they could do the matte paint job with any color and they said yes. If any of you are doing some wild color combos and are interested in a matte spoiler, please call me. I myself have a Vista Blue GT and I'm thinking about doing a matte orange or gray spoiler with matching stripes. Of course this is our project car so we want it to attract a lot of attention. I'll post pics if I decide to go with this color combo.

Good deal, all my painting was free so I just had them spray the spoiler at the same time. Matte black was real close to being my first choice, I think the black stock spoiler looks great on any color.

I have added the wing to our online store and the price is set at $299.95. There is a lead time of 3 days to ship due to the custom paint job.

Remember that you can save 5% on this or any part in our store by using the forum member's promo code TMS.com during checkout.
