Be VERY careful when you peruse the WE website...

I went in looking at the seq. tail lights and left with the one-touch top, rear windows and turn signals.

Oh yeah, I also got the tail lights...

Great ideas - I already love the convenience of the one-touch top and rear windows. Great products!

What's the diff between the $120 WE kit and the $140 WE kit? Is it worth it to get the WE Kit that uses the OEM core harness?

Does anyone have any leaking problems with the Webelectric grommet? Do you recommend the $140 kit with the OEM harness or the $120 kit without the OEM harness?

I went with the WE $140 kit. Loved the fact I could install in minutes and didn't need to splice a thing, plus it is nice that they use oem styled harnesses. Grommets fit perfect and haven't had any leaking issues at all.

I sure wish they made chasers like that too... I'd buy those yesterday.

/chasers <> sequencers
//aware of the chaser kit, but all that splicing...yeesh... and no brake on de-chase...

CDC Turn Signals

I first installed the CDC sequentials when they first came out on my 05 GT and they are still running fine even though I no longer own it. I purchased a new set for my 08SGT-BJ, plug and play is the way to go, a very nice touch to your car no matter which brand you go with.

CDC has good tech support and customer service and I believe they did plug and play first.

Take your time on the install and follow the instructions, make sure you wrap something on your tail lights so you don't scratch them during the install and also try not to touch the acutal bulbs as oils from your skin can reduce their burn life.

Keep your instructions and warranty info just in case and test them before you bolt everything back together. For those of us with the Shaker 1000 a little more of a challange. You know this feature must be popular with it standard on the 2010 Mustangs.

Does the 2010 have sequencing brake lights or did they "fix" it?

No. 2010 turns only sequence. Brakes function as in 09.

I do like the added effect of the brake lamps sequencing once.

I installed the Webelectric kit. The instructions weren't quite clear on what I had to remove in order to access the lights. I had to lift up the cardboard/carpet layer (that covers the donut), etc...

Does anyone else notice that only the 4 inner lights (towards the center) flash when using the LOCK button on the fob? They sequence rapidly once before they dim.

I also noticed that the innermost light tends to remain lit the longest, so theoretically they'd fail first followed by the center lights. When sequencing, the innermost lights remain lit until the next cycle.

doesn't matter if you have them or not a bulb will go either way I've seen my 05 do it with out sequens and my 07 do it with so I alway's keep a half doezen in the car with tools as I often find pretty ladies with a light out tell them , offer to fix it free right then & there it's a Win Win !

The flash sequence works on an electronic delay to the center (delay) and outer (longer delay) taillamp bulbs. This lasts through the normal turn signal flasher cycle. The flash of the innermost turn signal bulb is the normal duration of the turnsignal without the sequential action. With the remote lock feature, the lamp flash illumination is a much shorter burst than a turn signal cycle, so it only leaves enough time for he inner and center sections to flash, while it is not on long enough for the outer sections to flash.

Yeah well my Web Electric kit went in back in 2005 and failed in mid 2010. Center bulb on left hand side doesn't flash, just stays steady. Now I have to dish out $65 for a new kit...but not from them
