Hey Guys,

I am ready for my first mod. What Axle-back Exhaust system would deliever the closest sound to that classic hot rod sound of the 70's? If any???

Thanks

Ditto on checking the various threads. I originally put on Magnaflow's (not the paks) and wanted something more aggressive (louder). Went with the FRPP (Borla's) and I love em...but some folks hate the drone.

Stingers all the way! I was concerned I would be disappointed if I went with GTA's, Flows, etc. Now that I have the Stingers I know I would have been unhappy with anything quieter.

alright, before you guys laugh at me remember that I am brand new to Mustangs. I just got my first one. I have a V6 mustang and was wondering if they made the FRPP/Borla Stingers for the V6, and if they do can it be converted to a dual?? Also what does FRPP mean??? Sorry I know I am a newbie at this.

Yes the V6 can be converted to dual exhaust system, but be aware that a setup for a GT and V6 will sound different. Also FRPP means Ford Racing Performance Parts.

Alot of guys have been converting their 6'ers to a dual exhaust and I think you can choose your mufflers from there on.
