need to know of a shop that would install quarter window louvers the shr ones. all the places i go don't want anything to do with it.

so if you have or know someone that has had these louvers installed can u please tell me where it was done thanks.

 

Do It Yourself

They really aren't bad to install. Just be sure to use enough window seal/caulk to hold the window at the right depth.

 

You need to call an auto glass installer, they can do it... provided you don't take Justin's advice, of course, which is what I'd probably do, myself... maybe...

 

IM tyring to find a good paint shop to do some work but no luck as of yet. So if anyone can contribte form the area besides the DO IT YOUR SELF.... could be useful for those trying to find shops

 

Cillis Auto Care on Schroeder Rd has done a good bit of performace work for me and thier body shop did my KR hood and has done other collision repair work for me. Been doing business there for over 20 years. Ask for Greg Cillis and tell him JC Thorne sent you. He'll charge you extra :-)

 

JC does he have an email address i cn send to to get a quote for wht i need. IM still in iraq but will be home soon and should hve the cr back some time in jan i sent one out but still awaiting the quote been a few days

 

There's also Autovision in the Houston area, he does them all the time for the local dealers in the area. Maybe give him a buzz - 713-896-1134.

thanks for all the replies i installed all the roush body parts on myself but these window louvers i rather have a professional do it. think i will give auto vision a call.

and one more quick question a just bought a cdc rear decklid anyone can give a quick estimate on how much it will cost to get painted?

or do you think it would be better to have it powder coated?

I wouldn't powdercoat it - you're never going to have an exact match to paint in most non-primary colors, so I'd just get it painted if you want to go that route.
