Saw this car while browsing the E-bay listings. Saw this hood, and the hood scoop reminded me of the scoop on my 72 Gran Torino Sport.

This is the kind of hood I would like for my GT if she ever comes in :bang:

Anybody know who makes it?

It looks a little like the CDC hood but that one is molded on the hood. I would have to say that it is a custom and a nice one a that!

Here's a thread from another forum on the BBR hood. It's not available on the BBR website, if it is....I didn't see it. Blow By Racing

Yeah, I remember reading that somewhere. I think I also read they were working on a functional one as well though. Not a whole lot of info on their site, kind of disappointing. I really like the BBR, but I think i'm gonna hold out for one I saw being put out by Fang. Anyway...I think the guy who posted just wanted to know who makes it. It really looks like the BBR to me and not the RKSport, because of the three little "fin like" extensions coming off the front. Hope this is helpin the guy.

I've seen that BBR hood first hand - on that Sonic Blue as a matter of fact.

It looks pretty sweet in person. At first, you miss that its non-functional.

I may be mistaken, but it does not look like it would be too hard to make that hood functional no? This is of course without seeing pics of the underside, but if it's just a molded hood you could just cut holes in it right.

I could swear I read somewhere that BBR is working on a functional version of that hood. The website is kind of lacking in the information department though.

there web page is lacking b/c yahoo web hosting has been giving them the run around. The site is going up and down b/c yahoo can't get there act together. But I know they have the hoods in stock, I helpped them out this weekend up in Englishtown, NJ at there booth at Fun Ford Weekend. They have 2 left in stock. They are asking I think it was $460 for the hood... they are a smooth finished underside as well for those of you that are curious.
