Check out this link. It's the SHR with black annodized door and satin ring. Then it's a tri-bar pony that I had lying around. The pony was for the CDC Eleanor front grille I no longer use. I just cut the plastic pins off the back and stuck it to the medallion with 3M tape. I've got another emblem I'm going to put on later. It's a '65 GT fender emblem in red and black.

Here's a pic of when I had the pony on it.

Then switched to the GT letters.

Hi Leo

How did you get the pony on there? What do you think Chrome or Polished? I was thinking
of doing all chrome or Polished and having the pony painted to match my stripes and car like I did
on my other ponys :-)

Here's mine, the original SHR two-tone rear medallion, with a 2003 fender badge:

Wow looks great! Where do you get the 2003 fender badge? It looks alot smaller then the
new Pony fender badges that I have.

I was thinking of doing the SHR but I would not like it plain and mine is a V6. So I think for the best
look it would be going with the fender badge on the SHR.

Dose it stay on well? Do it look OEM and have a "Clean" look to it?

Thanks for all the info.

The 2000-2003 badge is 2 13/16" x 2 15/16". The 2006-2008 badge is 4 1/4" x 4 3/8".

It's just like the one's you have on the fender. You just need to break off the plastic guide pins. Like Brad stated below it's the 2003 fender pony. You can get it at your local Ford dealer. I'd vote for polished on your car. Having it match your other custom pony's sounds like a good idea.

Hi like Brad said. The new Tri Bars are bigger.

What I was thinking is doing the Custom painted tri bars on the chrome or polished.

Brad

The Silver close on my tri bars is a custom color that the paint guy I goto made to paint my stripes with
it's a very close match to the gray color of my foose wheels.

Ive been wanting to do this for a long time as well. I say go for it, and as for painting it like the ponies you already have would be a nice custom touch.

On another note, does anyone know if this will fit with the xenon blackout panel I currently have on my car? Brad-I see you have the SHR honeycomb panel with yours, did you need to do anything to make it fit right, or will it work with a blackout panel?

I requested some GT/CS products from SHR previously and apparently there is an issue with Ford having the rights to the GT/CS verbiage. However, one with a "California Special" in script lettering like the old ones might work? Yes, I'm groveling..... Now that SHR is one of their licensed dealers, I am hoping they can produce some GT/CS text products though.

Here's mine...

I went more for the classic '69 gas cap look... very happy with it! I think it really finished off what was started with the Honeycomb panel...
