I've been going back and forth on getting a Roush front fascia for 'Jessica' but I can't make up my mind. I'm wondering how much lower to the ground it is compared to the stock GT fascia. Not sure how well it will look compared to the stock side skirts.

Now that I've found such a great price, it's crunch time. Have to make a decision.
Anyone have pics? Or want to do a chop?

Why not get the side skirts? they look nice, and they are about $250 I think...

Actually, $209. See, all the money you saved by not ordering the expensive front bumper, you can spend it here...

Yeah. That is a pretty good looking car.
I think the hood stripes would look better if they were one big stripe. And loss the goofy looking 1/4 window vents.

Thanks, Hireman! I knew someone had a black one, but couldn't remember who.
BTW, why does yours have what looks like an "insert" in the little vent on the side of the fascia? Haven't seen it on any others.

As to comment about liking the side skirts, you're correct. I don't like them. There are a lot of things I don't like about the Roush, but I didn't want to get anything started.

EDIT: I just ordered my fascia this morning. Should ship out Monday and be here by the end of the week.

those vents can either be put behind the fascia or through it....they mount with sticky tape.....I chose through it because the lines in the cut-out for them were not lets say even. It also took a large amount of prep to get it where I wanted to start painting on it. I dont really care for anyone's complete "kit". I chose the roush front-end, 3D carbon "ducktail" and thinking about the 3D carbon side skirts ( bad boy racer ) and then the street scene rear bumper trim....I wish someone would make a kit that I actually thought went together....LOL

Yep. I feel the same way, Bill.
Good thing no one does though. Then there'd be cars out there that looked like mine.

Thanks for the warning about the quality.

I got the Roush front fascia, without the chin spoiler - and no side skirts.
That would make it another couple inches lower. Its already low enough. There are places I wont turn into because I know it would drag. It is 6 1/4" off the ground with the Roush fascia.

Take a look at these threads:

Oh, and I think those vents are mounted with little clips, not tape.

Thanks for the pics. I had already seen that first thread, but not the second one. The vents look better since you painted that little section body color instead of black.
Now I know how I'll paint mine.

Scheduled to be here Friday.

It's here! And it's a day early!

Yes, it's a real Roush piece and yes it included the fogs, fog brackets, wiring... everything. $500 shipped.

Now I just have to finish my grille project then decide on a painter and then I'll install it. Then stripes. (blue, of course)

And talk about a real Shelby look, I just put on a wood steering wheel.
