Those stripes are perfect!

Great job Tim!

They look even better than the photoshop!

Thanks!

I had it done at http://streetsmartme.com/ in San Diego.

It was $250. It would have been more if they knew how much trouble it was going to be! It's not a kit, it was done from scratch.

Tim, please post a pic of your ride with the stripe measurements and above link for others in the stripe thread.

My take on the stripes:
Tha 69 BOSS style (or reverse "C" stripe) is nice, but wasn't what I was looking for. That and the 70 BOSS style are readily available.

This threat is for ideas on a 68 inspired "C" stripe or a take-off on it. At this point no one makes this type other than the really really big "C" from Graphic Express.

I think it's done. I added the M U S T A N G chrome letters. It adds a little bit of "bling" and is forward looking and retro at the same time.

Previously it didn't say "Mustang" anywhere on the outside (not that it's needed) but I didn't want the usual "GT 300/350/500" or whatever on the side either. Anyway it's something different yet it stays true to the various years and cues the 05/06 Mustang is designed after.

Tim, do you think that this stripe would go good with your c-stripe if the ends were sharpened to a point?

Probably...I wonder how it would look with a ducktail?
BTW a friend of mine saw a new Torch red GT w/o the stripes and thought it looked too plain. Even my neighbor, who's pretty outspoken came over and said how much he likes it now. I know it's a bit much for some people, especially purists (I am one when it applies to restored cars) but it's all vinyl AND/or stick on ;-)

Tim you are about 4 months late, LOL. Anyway, I didn't know this thread existed, but here is my car with C-stripes (pic from my cardomain)

I was just bumping the thread
I was wondering if anyone else had done a C Stripe....not the BOSS stripes, I've seen several of those. Several people talked about it.

I really dig it Tim, looks fantastic, wonder what color would go best with Sonic Blue?

If I could get a similar deal that you got I would really be interested in making the drive down to SD to do it.

Forgot about this thread, how is the vinyl holding up?

The vinyl is holding up very well. I had to blunt the ends, they were too thin and were always peeling at the point.

I think a solid white, silver or medium gray metallic C Stripe would look good on Sonic Blue.
