stole the photo from tire rack then added a c-stripe and luvers, not the best photo shop but just gives an idea of what I'm talking about. Would like to see some real photo's if anyone has any.[attachmentid=20523]

Thanks for the welcome!. I have a 2006 Vista Blue on order with an Auto and all options. Looking at pic's and talking to other people to get ideas so when I get mine I can have some fun. When I saw that pic with window luvers I read that it was a stolen pic off a tire machine but I thought the guy would maybe know who or where to find luvers. I think they look good. I have found some stripe kits too that has kind of interested me. Got to get the car first and go from there. A GT is no where to be found in the Northwest. I'm told it's about 4 months out, aleast!

So far I don't like the C-stripes I've seen. The c-stripe should go along the edge or crease like in the 68 below. They should accent the crease. The first photoshop above the c-stripe is too small in my opinion. Or for my taste. The links to 2005-mustang.com are basically using an inverted 68 c-stripe. The top line is shorter which is the opposite of the 68. This really just doesn't look right to me. The two issues with a c-stripe for 2005+ are that the door handle is in the crease and the front wheel flaring is so big it's in the crease as well. I'm not sure if I'll ever go with one but really want one that comes closer to the 68. My car is modded quite a bit now like my 68 and I'm loving it. It is so much like my old one, only with power steering and less worries with the low mileage.

IMHO I think the rocker panel stripes make it look like a V6 or a Cobra 500 wanna be. Not that either look bad mind you!
I did these chops, sort of a quasi 66 and 68 GT combo using stick-on chrome letters.

The first one would have to be painted, there's no way a decal would conform to the contour.
I also thought about cutting off the Graphic Express "C" stripe to an "L"....personally I don't tlike it going up so high. OR splicing it into a lower "C" stripe.

Tim, I think that you are on the right track. I e-mailed Graphic Express a while ago about a redo of their C-stripe. However, I think it would mean more coming from current owners of the '05 Mustang.
I think that the top of the "C" should be either parallel to the body crease or hang below it or sit on it. It should compliment the lines of the car.

The black one with the red stripe that was posted earlier is closest to what I'm looking for but in black. Though I'd really like to see a side picture of it before I drop $300 bucks.
