![Question](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
Has anyone got any pictures of a Windveil Blue with a black rear spoiler?
I'm getting one next week and kinda wanted to see it before installing it.
Thanks.

I've gone the Black and Blue theme over the complete exterior. Blacked out Bullits, deck wing, CDC chin spoiler, rockers and lower valance on rear bumper cover, SHR honeycomb tail panel, lenses and windows. Can send pics if needed.

That what I want to do to finish out the back of the car on mine as well!
Waiting to see the PJ rear 70 Style spoiler to decide if I want that one or just paint the one I have.

Painted Rear
Sure did Jason, even did the mud flaps to match as well. Now the black trim runs all the way around the bottom of the car. Looks great with the tinted windows, black top and black wing. Pics show the 4" GTA's as well.

Looks good, Paul. I was gonna go all the way over the exhaust cutout like you did, but I didn't like the way it made the cutout look bigger.
Also, I went with a satin black instead of gloss. Did you paint the rockers gloss also, or did you just swap in a set of V6 rockers?
The second pic shows why I went ahead and painted the lip. (I was having a whole new bumper painted anyway.) I wish the GT500 bumper would have been available when this happened.

The rockers are GT, factory black finish (I purchased them from D.M.S. 800-995-4003 50.00/pr) I painted the front spoiler and the rear bumper cover with a black basecoat, and a matted clear. While you get some reflection in the sunlight, it is not excessive. The finish most resembles a semi-gloss. It is very easy to clean, takes wax with no issues, and the front chin spoiler cleans up very nicely after a hard day on the roads. I had used the satin finish on previous cars and it was tough to keep it clean after a few months in the New England weather. Always found myself re-spraying after it got nicked up a bit.
I agree with your comment about the exhaust cut-outs. If I had not been putting in the GTA's with the 4"tips, I would not have carried the color up and around.
I had been contemplating installing a lower rear valance piece, sold by Cervanis and others. Seemed easier (and cheaper) to just to play with a roll of tape and the color to get the effect I wanted.
I feel your pain with regards to the bumper cover. Keep in mind that the GT/CS cover looks nice as well. I am not sure, but it may be the same as tht Shelby.
Have you tried a blackout effect on your tail lights, sidemarkers and rear brakelight? I ended up painting mine (about 2oz blk with 24oz clear mixed together) used about 3 or 4 coats to get the desired effect. Did the same for the yellows up front. You can get some window tint and play around with the shading. Even if you use a very light tint, it will have a dramatic effect on the rear look of the car. To me, Ford made those rear lenses too big and bright.
