Any fixes for stock spoiler holes if installing
I've been drifting more and more towards a ducktail for my Stang - wasn't nuts about the CDC one..... the bottom edges on the pieces that come down past the taillights just didn't look right to me in pictures...
Well on friday night I saw a GT at this weekly car get-together thing in this shopping plaza and BOY did that look SWEET!!! Not to mention the fact that CDC is selling them painted now too - As troublesome as the third brakelight thing is, I'm really considering hard about getting one - BUT of course, since I have the stock spoiler, what do I do about the holes once I remove it???...
Is there still no real fix out there for this yet? (besides getting an entire new trunk lid which is the only other thing I could think of? wonder what the odds are of finding someone on here with the spolier delete who would want to trade decklids...)

Why not get a ducktail that uses the factory holes?
Why not get a ducktail that uses the factory holes?
and have even been considering the Roush (which one day seems kickass to me and the next day seems a bit too busy) - But I'll tell you man - I did NOT expect to fall in love with the CDC ducktail like I did when I saw it friday night.
Seeing it in person, up close and being able to touch it, etc..... I was amazed how well it works on the car.... :headbang:
The spoilers out there that use the factory holes are just ugly IMO. The Roush spoiler is the only one I sorta like, but I wouldn't get it because I think it would only look right on a black car. If you really want a "good" ducktail, get your trunk holes welded and the trunk painted (I got mine done for about $250) and then get a CDC or Street Scene ducktail.
